Let's start our walk from the underground lake Proval, where I will introduce you to the legend of the local dragon, and also tell you why this place was considered the crater of an extinct volcano.

Next, we’ll take a walk along the street where the popular Pyatigorsk tram ran in the last century and find out the history of its disappearance in our days.

On the way we will admire the country mansions built at the beginning of the twentieth century. I’ll tell you which of them the local witch lived in, and where the milk master rested.

Let's go down to the wild source of hydrogen sulfide water, where I will tell you the legend about the heroic local tribe and the healing “tears” of Narzan.

Next, we will go up to one of the most beautiful observation platforms - the Aeolian Harp. Here I will talk about the mystery of the origin of music in the pavilion and the conquest of Elbrus.

We move towards another observation deck right along the spurs of Mount Goryachaya,which wecan translate as a "hot" mountain. During the walk, I will introduce you to the misanthropic alley along which poet Lermontov loved to walk in Pyatigorsk.

In good weather, from the Chinese gazebo you will have a panoramic view of the three mountains surrounding the city. Here I will share with you a myth about the origin of our mountains, the mortal battle of ancient giants, and also explain why the city of Pyatigorsk bears this name.

Going down to the Flower Garden park, we will pass by one of the key attractions - the Eagle sculpture. At this point I will tell the legend of betrayal and miraculous healing by the forces of the Caucasus.

Afterwards we will go down to the Tsvetnik park, here I will show you the grotto in which Lermontov had his last ball. I’ll tell you about the history of the creation of the park, its central attractions, and here we will finish our tour.
