Lovozero Massif. Alluayv mountain.

Tour program

From Murmansk we will head for the village of Revda, the road to it will take about two hours. We will visit the bakery to stock up for a picnic and visit the local museum of local history. From Revda we will go to explore the Lovozero Massif. There are two options: climb from the foot of the mountain on foot or by car. Along the way, you will observe an amazing change of landscape - from the polar taiga to the undersized tundra. From below, we will appreciate the sheer 200-meter walls of the mountain cirques of Raslak.

Half way up we will stop to admire the peaks of the Khibiny Mountains in the distance. Then we get to the top of Alluayv - this is a detached rock on a fairly flat surface of the mountain (these are called gendarmes). The next stop is the western cliff at the Geologov Pass, where you can stand on the edge of a sheer cliff, where the panorama of Umbozero and Khibiny spreads. On the eastern part of the Geologov Pass, even steeper mountain walls await you. Finally, on the top of Kedykvarpakhk, we will take a look at the legendary Seydozero and make a halt with tea and pastries.
