• The square of 1905 - the central square of Yekaterinburg, famous for its architectural monuments of the 19th and 20th centuries, including the city hall building
• The buildings of the former office of the Ural Mining Plants and the Ural Mining School, which are the oldest stone buildings in Yekaterinburg
• The embankment of the city pond with a unique view of city and its attractions
• The dam on the Iset River which is the historical heart of Yekaterinburg, and a favorite walking place for city residents.
• Truda Square, where monuments of classicism and early Soviet constructivism eclectically complement each other
• The Literary Quarter - one of the few surviving pieces of old Yekaterinburg, the buildings of which house a series of museums dedicated to famous writers
• The Church on Blood, erected on the site where Ipatiev’s house was situated, that very house which became the notorious place of execution of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II and the members of his family.
• The Rastorguev-Kharitonov estate - the largest merchant estate in old Yekaterinburg.
• The Church of the Ascension is the only surviving church of the city from the 18th century, the architecture of which contains Baroque elements.
• Karl Liebknecht Street, famous for many pre-revolutionary buildings, such as the Philharmonic Hall, the Metenkov House, the house of the postmaster Kachka, and others, each with its own history and legends.
• The building of the first city theater - built in the classicist style in 1845, a film was shown there for the first time in the history of the city. But even today it houses a functioning cinema.
• Pushkin Street - one of the few in Yekaterinburg that has retained its historical name, as well as many ancient buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries
• Skyscraper Vysotsky - the first skyscraper in the capital of the Urals, the second tallest building in Russia outside of Moscow and St. Petersburg
• Temple of Great Chrysostom - “Vysotsky” of the 19th century, a majestic and loud temple-bell tower soaring with its high dome to the heavens, the sound of the bell of which was heard even in the suburbs of pre-revolutionary Yekaterinburg
• Vayner Street - the pedestrian “Arbat” of Yekaterinburg, famous for its cast-iron sculptures, shopping and vibrant youth life.
