You can leave a request for an excursion or a ticket when it is convenient for you, but you must complete the booking no later than the booking period specified in the description of the excursion or ticket you are interested in. If after booking you want to change the date, then this can be done at no additional cost if the guide has free time or in groups there are places - just agree with the guide.
