2 days in the north of Azerbaijan: Guba and Gusar (Shahdag)

On a two-day trip from Baku, I'll tell you why this place is called the "land of records" and show you the best natural wonders and unusual attractions. The Taj Mahal in miniature, a village in the clouds, mountains and waterfalls — it's worth seeing!

This trip is for those who want to see the northernmost part of Azerbaijan in all its glory, enjoy the clean mountain air, drink spring water and enjoy amazing Caucasian cuisine.
During the excursion we:
• we will visit a waterfall in one of the most authentic villages of the country — Laze;
• let's visit the mausoleum of Sheikh Junayd, who built a small copy of the famous Taj Mahal in his native land;
• we will visit the places of stay of the unsurpassed “hero of our time” Mikhail Yuryevich Lermontov;
• let's drink aromatic tea on the slope of Mount Shahdag (4,243 m), admiring the picturesque landscapes;
• a piece of Israel (red settlement) "Jerusalem of the Caucasus";
• let's head to the village of Sudur, shrouded in clouds on all sides.
