Explore a real winter at the best ski resort in Shakhdag

In Azerbaijan you can find 9 of the 11 climatic zones in the world. Therefore, in the north of the country there are places where real winter reigns, gentle sunshine, a colorful ski resort and delicious flatbreads stuffed with meat, cheese, herbs and even honey!
This is not just a trip to the ski resort. Along the way we will have several stops in the most colorful corners of the northern region of Azerbaijan.
First of all, we will take a look at how nature can paint and combine the brightest colors, creating intricate patterns on the Khizi hills. It's not just coming to look and take pictures. You will be able to try on the role of a paleontologist and independently find the fossils of the oldest mollusks, which are no less than 60 million years old.
Having found and collected belemnites as trophies, we will move further to the city of Guba. You will have a unique chance to watch the process of creating a real carpet. We will visit a carpet factory where carpets are woven by hand.
But everything will be in vain if we don’t try the delicious flatbreads, which are stuffed with meat, cheese, herbs and even honey! And they cook them over a fire in a picturesque forest.
And finally, we will arrive in Shahdag! Real winter, sun and mountain air!
