Tour to Charyn Canyon

Tour program

Departure from Almaty
In the morning, the driver will pick you up from your designated address, and you'll head to Charyn Canyon (Valley of Castles) (220 km, approximately 3 hours).
Along the way, there will be a stop near the market in the village of Baiseit, where you can buy snacks and drinks.
Arrival at Charyn Canyon

Upon arrival, a 3-hour hike will begin from the parking lot (trekking from 3 to 8 km). We'll walk along the top to get a view of the canyon from above, then descend into the canyon itself and walk to the Charyn River, where you can sit on benches by the river and relax in the shade of trees.
On the way back, if you prefer not to walk, you can use the eco-taxi service.
Departure and arrival at Bartogai Lake
After the walk in the Valley of Castles, you'll head to Bartogai Lake (60 km, approximately 1 hour).
At the lake, you'll enjoy a 30-minute walk.
Departure and arrival in Almaty
After Bartogai Lake, you'll return to the city (180 km, approximately 2.5 hours).
Upon arrival, the driver will drop you off at any location in the city.
