Excursion "Kurtat Gorge"

Urtata gorge is the cradle of Ossetian culture. The 8th century trading arteries were concentrated in this gorge. Here you will see the objects of architecture of the 8th century, plunge into military and funerary rites, hear about how military operations were conducted and how savvy the commanders were. You will visit such objects as Dzivgis, Canyon, p. Tsmiti, the highest male Cathedral of the Assumption, you will see rocky fortresses and family towers, local waters and invigorating springs!

Excursion program:
1. Monument dedicated to the assignment to the city of Vladikavkaz of the title "City of Military Glory." (Travel)
2. The Monument to PP Barbashov, the first to accomplish the feat, later repeated by Matrosov.
3. Monument to the mother of a soldier who lost her seven sons in World War II.
4. A visit to the rock park and a walk along the “path of miracles” on
bank of the river Phiagdon
5. Monuments to V.I. Lenin, I.V. Stalin, monument “the grieving horse”, in the village of Phiagdon (passing through)
6. Rock fortress in the village of Dzivgis
7. Holy — Assumption Alan monastery
