Viewing warships on Navy Day from aboard an individual boat

Especially in honor of the Navy Day, real warships will enter the waters of the Neva River, where they will remain waiting for the holiday. During the week, residents of St. Petersburg and guests of the city will be able to inspect the warships and feel the full power of the Russian fleet.
Every year, 4 warships, a submarine and the famous sailing ship Poltava will stand in the front row from Blagoveshchensk to Liteyny Bridge. Each ship is festively decorated with flags, and in the evening beautiful light bulbs installed on the masts of ships are lit.
The Neva water area is open, so we will be able to inspect all the ships and get as close as possible to each of them.
Restrictions are imposed only during the period of the parade on July 31 from 10:00 to 14:00.

Walking route:
• We descend to the city center along Bolshaya Nevka along the TV tower to the Cruiser Aurora, which is also themed with signal flags on the eve of the holiday.
• We go out to the Neva River, where, moving along the Palace Embankment, we will begin to inspect the warships
• We will be the first to see the sailing ship Poltava, recreated at the historical shipyard, the first Russian battleship of the XVI century. This 54-gun sailboat was launched in 1712. It was built during the Northern War with Sweden, when Peter the Great fought for Russia's return to the Baltic Sea.
• Next, we will see the warships, and we will be able to approach each of them so that you can study each of them in detail and take a photo for memory. Very impressive!
• After the boat we will approach the Blagoveshchensk Bridge, where the submarine is located
• After inspecting the entire fleet in the Neva water area, we will continue our walk: we will go to the arrow of Vasilievsky Island, to the Peter and Paul Fortress, and then along the Malaya Nevka we will reach the Gulf of Finland, where sailboats often hold competitions and trainings.
• On the way back, we will pass by Gazprom Arena, pass under the cable-stayed bridge of the ZSD, go to the Lakhta Center and walk along Elagin Island, where the Elagin Palace is located.
