Count Sheremetev estate

Sheremetev palace or the Fountain house belonged to 5 generations of the family.

You'll learn about the family history in the beautiful interiors. You'll see the halls of the grand suite of rooms, where receptions and musical parties took place in the palace, as well as two small rooms of Praskovya — a serf peasant actress who became a wife of count Sheremetev and a mother of the next count.

After seeing the palace we'll walk around the territory of the estate. XVIII century city estate is a unique thing in St Petersburg, most of them disappeared later but here we can still see a garden, a manege, household constructions, tenement houses where apartments were rented or given to the employees of the Sheremetevs.
